  • Mint Refer is a real estate referral brokerage that is licensed in Florida and North Carolina (d/b/a Mint Brokerage LLC). Our licensed referral agents are compensated for their referrals that result in closed real estate transactions.

  • Yes! Becoming a referral agent is a great way to begin your real estate career. Many licensees become referral agents to get their feet wet in the real estate industry while maintaining other full- or part-time employment.

  • If you spent any amount of time in real estate, chances are you have a wealth of client contacts at your disposal. Becoming a referral agent allows you to get compensated for your real estate contacts without the time, energy, and financial investment it takes to close a typical transaction.

  • Our licensed referral agents can choose from 3 plans, each of which earn them a referral fee for each closed transaction.

    You can choose to earn either 5% (Sprout), 15% (Grow) or 25% (Flourish) of a referred REALTOR®’s commission. For example, if the referred REALTOR® earned a $10,000 commission after working with your referred client, you would get a check for either $500 (Sprout), $1,500 (Grow) or $2,500 (Flourish).

    And unlike most referral brokerages, we do not charge a transaction fee.

  • Yes and no. Your referrals should be clients you know in a personal or professional capacity. Most agents refer friends, family members, or clients they have worked with in the past.

    If you do choose to prospect for cold leads, you need to nurture them just as you would a traditional real estate client. By the time they are handed over to us, your referrals should be qualified and ready to work with a REALTOR®.

  • After being carefully reviewed by a member of our team, all referrals are matched with REALTORS® who meet our strict requirements. If you would like to choose your own agent, please include that information on the referral form.

  • No. Mint Refer operates as a referral brokerage. Affiliated licensees are only allowed to refer clients and earn a referral fee. If you are looking to join a more traditional real estate brokerage in Central Florida, Mint Brokerage operates as such.

    Additionally, you are free to cancel your membership and transition to another real estate brokerage at any time.
